NEED MONEY FOR ______. The blank is the product. Rent, therapy, a studio, a plane ticket, bad decisions: whatever lands in that gap is what goes on the shirt.

Nothing exists until somebody orders it. The statement is typeset in the browser and rendered into a print file on the spot, so a phrase a customer types comes out as sharp as one of ours.

Merch is usually one slogan somebody guessed right, printed a thousand times and stacked in a garage until it stops selling.

Here the shop is the design tool. One photograph covers a whole colourway, and a new product is a line of data instead of a photo shoot.

Print on demand takes the stock out of the risk. A new idea costs one line in a file, not a pallet.

Everybody finishes that sentence differently, which is about as close to a built-in reason to share something as a label gets.
